Jan Roberts

Jan Roberts has lived in the Walla Walla valley for three years after spending most of her life in the mission field of Africa and Indonesia. She is a graduate of Walla Walla University, BS in nursing, which was very helpful while living overseas. Making and listening to great music is a passion that runs deeply in her soul. She is currently a collaborative pianist at Whitman College and Walla Walla University, as well as the Walla Walla Chorale Society. 

Even though she lived in some very remote places while serving overseas, she was able to maintain her piano skills by organizing and performing in more than 40 concerts on two continents. Jan has taught hundreds of students around the world to enjoy classical music and play the piano. She is the mother of three adult children, two of whom work in Papua, Indonesia while the third is preparing to serve in Cambodia later this year.
